Piaroa Products (Huottuja Products)

Our organization was commissioned and inspired to overcome the obstacles of Indigenous peoples accessing the international marketplace, selling artefacts, artwork, cacao, chocolate, medicine, and pottery, among other things -- on an international basis as unique. It has also become an imperative to create, develop, define and publish titles, names and proper legal descriptions on the behalf of Huottuja-De'aruhua people, their communities and for individuals living within our territories doing business directly with consumers at a fair-trade cost, eliminating the middleman, establishing direct-trade relationships, removing the need for government oversight, and properly distinguishing original creations retrospectively and historically as Indigenous cultural and intellectual property (ICIP). It is also important to describe, name, title and publish these products to protect them as the authentic source | origin and against infringement of ICIP, fraudulent copies, false origin, imitation or dilution of the Huottuja Peoples' Rights.
